Our Vision, Our Mission, Our Role
Our Vision is to be valued as God directed leaders in caring for seafarers through our excellence, innovation, commitment and relevance in providing for seafarers' spiritual, social and practical welfare. The Singapore Branch of the Mission to Seafarers is dedicated to providing quality spiritual and practical care for seafarers through affordable and accessible facilities and through a highly trained and well equipped team of Chaplains and Volunteers. The Branch seeks to expand an awareness of the needs of seafarers, to foster civic and ecclesiastical responsibility in caring for them, to emphasize the role and responsibility of the maritime community as employers and to strengthen a sense of purpose in their seafaring careers.
Our Facilities
We currently run an administrative office and a seafarers' drop-in centre. Our administrative office is at Telok Blangah House and is conveniently situated near the Brani Port Gate, the bus route, and the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station, HarbourFront, on the North-East Line. This office provides telephone and internet facilities for seafarers' use.

Our air-conditioned "drop-in" centre, The Seafarers' Care Centre, is located inside Jurong Port. Facilities available in this centre are a chaplain's office, library & reading room, telephone, email and internet workstations, television and a kitchenette for light refreshments. The Centre is close to where ships berth and can be reached by seafarers with limited time ashore. We regularly have seafarers dropping by in the evening to watch television and to use computers to send and receive emails before their ships set sail the following morning.
We Need Your Help!
The Mission to Seafarers is a non-profit organization and we are financially dependent on the continued generosity of our supporters and friends in the shipping industry, the public at large, and the Anglican community here in Singapore.
How can you help?
• Pray for our work
• Donation of books and magazines
• Ship visiting and manning of the Care Centre
• Financial Support - pledges and donations
As part of our fund-raising & out-reach efforts, we organize several events during our calendar year to reach out to the communities here in Singapore for on-going support. Foremost of these are our yearly Sea Sunday, our Annual Black-Tie Dinner, our Golf Challenge and our candle-light Christmas Carols.
